2019 End of Term 2😃

Kia Ora,
This is the end of term 2 I've really enjoyed it and I'm going to tell you what has happened,
We went to St Teresa's, We went to Winter Sports, Mr Chitty came he's and deep sea diver, Cross Country happened, Te Tuna Taone Urban Eel (Eel Inquiry), Financial Literacy, Mai FM Came to give basketball prizes and Middleton Grange Music Academy.

It's been a great term be back it two weeks.

Just A Little Catch Up🏃

Winter Sport❄

Kia Ora,

I am going to tell you about winter sports even though I started doing it at the start of this term but we haven't been doing blogs too much. 

We started the season off great we won all our games but people practice and they get better and we started losing a few games  winning a few but now we're getting better we versed st Francis of Assisi and we tied it was a really good game so close lots of action everything a good game of rugby needs.

The Almighty Wall💪

Hello Everyone, 

My friend and me played in the sandpit and we made a huge wall out of sand it was really strong and compact while we were digging Oscar found a toy soldier it was covered in sand we washed him and called him dusty he went on the wall and Sean got a emoji pen and stuck it into the wall as a flag, we went back in for work and when we looked out the window at the end of the day these little kids destroyed it luckily Mrs O'Neill took a photo and here it is.

Hello everyone,
I'm going to tell you about the start of term 2,

for this week for maths we are doing problem solving instead of lots of 113+27 kind of question we've got one big question like one person has 10$ on the the first day and it goes up 2$ each day and the other person gets 1$ and it doubles each day how much would they get in twenty days and what's the differences.

We are doing projects on eels and my group which has William, James and Xander in it we are going to do a stop motion on what's happening to the eels to raise awareness about what is happening to eels we are going to use play doh

Cycle Safety🚴

Hello everyone,

On Monday we did something called cycle safety were they taught us to be safe on the road they said that if the police catches you riding on the footpath you could get fined fifty five dollars! and I don't have that money so I was really listening they taught us the four L's to get on your bike they were levers (brakes), Lean (bike towards you), Leg (over your bike), look (behind on your right shoulder) and your off! I learnt a lot like... the lifesaver look , the stop signal, the right signal, the left signal! but importantly we got to bike on the roads I went on the sparks road cycleway and when you go on it it down hill a bit so I went speeding down without even needing to bike! the cycle way was really fun I like the way it is two way and its only on one side of the road. we learned  how to turn right from a side road to a main road and turn right into a side road and that if your on the main road going straight you always go first  it was great fun thank you to the cycle safety company.
